WHAT TO BRING

Here is a list of things that we suggest you bring for your visit to our sanctuary:

  • Your passport number to complete our Insurance Agreement (on your phone or a paper copy). You do not need to bring your actual passport just details of the number.

  • Personal travel insurance - recommended for international travel in case of accident

  • Cash to pay for your visit to our sanctuary - no deposit required when booking online

  • A refillable water bottle as we have large chilled filtered water dispensers for refills

  • Cap or wide brimmed hat to protect from the sun

  • Sunglasses

  • Sunscreen

  • Insect repellent

  • Camera

  • Closed toe shoes or trainers

  • Clothes you don't mind getting sweaty or dirty

Dress Code

When visiting Samui Elephant Sanctuary please wear clothes that are respectful to the local culture.

  

  • Women: no bikinis / swimsuits

  • Men: please wear a t-shirt or singlet shirt (don’t come shirtless)

  • Please wear shoes / sandals / flip flops / trainers (don’t come barefoot)
